Role: I was responsible for designing microsite and product landing pages from concept to final design.
Collaborators: I have collaborated with the Chief design officer, Content Manager, Analyst, Marketing Manager, Product Manager, SEO.
Challenge: The product marketing challenge was to show why Securly’s product is a more accessible alternative than typical student safety products. The product page displays those reasons in a visually captivating way. Data metrics were not looking suitable for page views, unique page views, average time on page, entrances, bounce rate, percent exit, and page value.
Solution: Collaborated with the stakeholders, marketing team, project manager, analytics, and content, we have come up with the solutions to drive traffic through microsites. However, microsites offer much more and help us improve our visibility within search engines, nurture our brand, and increase conversions among a specific audience without making a considerable investment.
The strategy behind creating these microsites: A post-click landing page is a single page, and it will always be published on its branded parent website. I have created a one-page microsite, published either as part of the parent site or on its own.
Product description: The main headline of each section of this page has a bold, succinct copy. The rest of the page is clearly organized headlines -- which kind of read like answers to frequently asked questions -- plenty of white space, succinct copy, and appropriate images. Anyone looking into each section can understand exactly how Square works at every stage of a transaction.
